Well…sort of.
I had my tonsils and my uvula removed. I’m 36. It hurts. They should have taken the tonsils when I was 11 and having my adenoids taken out. Click on the word to find out more about what these things are. I guess today is “Learning New Shit Day!” I have always had sleep apnea. That one you really need to read for an explanation other than, “It’s when you stop breathing.”
Welcome to my world ;P

I just purchased “All the Mornings of the World (Tous les matins du monde)”
This is an excellent movie starring Gérard Depardieu and his son Guillaume Depardieu.
It’s a French movie with some of the most amazing and moving Cello work ever heard. This movie moved me in ways I could never explain. If you like foreign films and enjoy classical music, you will enjoy this movie. I was lucky to acquire the dvd. It is mostly available on VHS. I don’t even own a VCR anymore. lol

I wrote to the president of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, begging him to stop the attacks on Georgian soil. They have been bombing and killing civilians. Georgia has made some nasty attacks on the Russian people, too. They are not 100% innocent, either. But this is outrageous. Enough is enough. Russia’s position as a world power is at stake here. Many people’s lives are at stake here.

I’m going to force my likes and dislikes on you now. 2 bands I want to mention.
Radiohead: In my opinion, the greatest band in the history of music itself (you know…like, forever). They played near my home recently and I couldn’t go. I had the gas money but not enough to cover a ticket as well. This economy sucks!
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs: If you haven’t checked them out, get off your duff and find some of their music online at least (I guess you would have to stay on your duff if you are looking online…heh).
I’ll make this one easy for you. Here is their video of “Maps” from the MTV Movie Awards thanks to YouTube:
More in depth posts will be coming soon, as I plan on letting everybody know what is going on with, at the very least, Radiohead, Thom Yorke, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tiny Masters of Today, Care Bears on Fire (Sophie rox!), Bjork, and a slew of other super-talented artists…

Rage Against the Machine is getting back together with the original lineup!
Rage is set to play the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN on September 3rd 2008 (opposite the Republican National Convention at the Excel Center in St. Paul, MN). On August 12th, in an interview with Ann Powers of the Los Angeles Times, Zack was asked what he anticipates for the show, his answer: “You’re gonna have to come and cover it. I think we both know what we expect. Good shoes would help. And you might wanna dip that bandanna in some vinegar.”

Alright. I admit it. I LOOOOOOVE hockey fights.
So, you say? I’m posting two hockey fight compilations below.
For your bloodthirsting pleasure:
…and one more for good measure between the Red Wings (Go WINGS!) vs. the Avalanche:

Tesla coils are cool. I think we can all agree on that.
But this is a nutty way to use one (or two) of them. Honestly, I’m blown away by this idea with the guitar. That would be awesome for a Death Metal band to pull out at a show
First vid is a guy with his guitar connected directly into the Tesla coil. No amps. No speakers. No pedals or any other instrument in between. Just a guitar and one Tesla coil…
Second vid is two computers connected via midi to each other and to two Tesla coils. They are playing the Mario Brothers Theme.
My mind is officially blown…

There are only three widescreen themes for Aston shell. I wish there were more of them. I have only found two. If I knew how to build themes I would make a TON of widescreen themes. Anybody want to tell me where a tutorial for building themes is at? Anybody have any requests for widescreen themes? Email me with your ideas and direction. I know I’ll need help, but once I get the hang of it (which will most likely take less than a week), I will make widescreen themes like crazy (I am home 24/7. I am at my comp at least 14 hours per day. I’d love to put it to good use like this. I spent a pretty penny on Aston shell & Aston 2 menu system (I’ll make new Aston2 themes as well once I figure out how).
Pease and luv,
Big Don
